Hi there! I’m Darae Lyles, a 24-year-old Stevenson University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Communication. My passion lies in marketing and communications, and I am strongly interested in expanding my design skills.
My journey began as a communications intern at International Social Services—USA, where I supported efforts to reunite cross-border families. At Stevenson, I gained hands-on experience in social media marketing through coursework, student organizations, and leadership roles. I served as the Social Media Manager for The Stevenson Villager and co-led The Communication Hub, a student-run initiative connecting peers to careers in communication.
Currently, I work as an Assistant Communication Coordinator at The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company. In this role, I contribute to internal corporate communications, collaborating with operations teams nationwide. My work demands precision, creativity, and strong writing skills—all of which I bring to the table with enthusiasm.
I’m proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva/Canva Pro, Microsoft Office, G-Suite, and more. I’m a team player with a drive to grow professionally and make meaningful contributions in the communications field.
