New York, New York

Oh, New York. One of the best cities in the world. It's tied to so many movies, icons, and traditions. To live there would be a dream come true but unfortunately, I am still in my hometown.

To the girls who get up and leave their hometown for a new city, I wish I were you but you also continue to inspire me.

Although I am not a New York native, my entire family is from there. Mom was born in Queens and my sisters are from Long Island as well as the rest of my family. I was constantly up there almost every month but that quickly ended due to the pandemic (way to ruin a good thing, COVID.)

I wouldn't consider myself a New Yorker by any means but I will say that I am comfortable in certain areas of Manhattan.

Some of my favorite places to visit are Bryant Park, Chelsea Market/Highline, museums, and of course SoHo. Yeah I know, these are pretty basic, right? I said I’m not a new yorker lol.

I will always have a soft spot for Bryant Park. My first experience there was with my cousin during the wintertime. They turn it into a winter village with hot chocolate, ice skating, and more.

It was one of the few times I've had with my cousin but it was such a great memory.

The MET is an iconic tourist attraction mainly because of Gossip Girl. It's where all of the “it-girls” want to eat breakfast on the steps just like Blair Waldorf with their Serena Van der Woodsen bestie.

One thing I love about the MET is their fashion exhibits. Designers from Versace, Dior, Dolce & Gabbana, and more come together to create beautiful pieces.

The last place I love to visit is The High Line. This is a place where I can go to clear my mind. The industrial feel and beautiful scenery is to die for! If you are an outdoor type of person, this is definitely for you.
